Abstract

Sustainable urban environments are vital for the well-being and prosperity of cities and their residents. This research explores the interconnections between development, health, and smart cities, with a specific focus on the role of electric intelligent vehicles. The study highlights key findings in each area, revealing the potential for creating sustainable urban environments through integrated strategies. In terms of development, the research emphasizes the importance of green infrastructure, including green spaces, energy-efficient buildings, and eco-friendly transportation systems. Mixed-use zoning is identified as an effective strategy to promote walkability and reduce carbon emissions, enhancing the overall livability of urban areas. Compact city planning is also emphasized for optimizing land use, minimizing urban sprawl, and conserving natural resources. The study further explores the health benefits of sustainable urban environments. Improved air quality, resulting from prioritizing clean energy sources and sustainable transportation options, leads to reduced respiratory illnesses. The research emphasizes the positive impact of walkable neighborhoods, cycling infrastructure, and access to green spaces on physical activity and public health. Noise reduction, achieved through smart urban planning and eco-friendly technologies, is found to contribute to improved mental health and well-being.The rise of smart cities is another important aspect of the research. Smart infrastructure, enabled by advanced technologies such as IoT devices, data analytics, and automation, optimizes energy usage, waste management, and transportation systems. Real-time monitoring and management of resources enhance resource efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Citizen engagement through digital platforms empowers residents to actively participate in urban planning and decision-making processes. The integration of electric intelligent vehicles is a key finding of the study. Electric vehicles (EVs) contribute to sustainable urban environments by reducing carbon emissions, improving air quality, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Their energy efficiency further reduces overall energy consumption and dependence on fossil fuels. The seamless integration of EVs with smart grids enables bidirectional energy flow and the use of vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, supporting power grid stability and the integration of renewable energy sources. This research underscores the vital link between development, health, and smart cities in creating sustainable urban environments.
