The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in personalized medicine promises to revolutionize healthcare by tailoring treatment to individual patient characteristics, thereby improving outcomes and efficiency. However, this innovative approach raises significant ethical concerns, particularly regarding fairness and respect for patient rights. This paper explores the ethical dimensions of AI application in personalized medicine, emphasizing the need for ethical guidelines to ensure equitable access to AI-driven healthcare solutions and the protection of patient rights. We discuss the challenges of bias in AI algorithms, the importance of transparency in AI systems, the necessity of informed consent in the use of patient data, and the implications for patient privacy.
